Dear Friend,
As
a small, arts non-profit, Zorongo Flamenco depends on generous
donations from the individuals who make up our community. The recent
economic downturn has meant that many of the large grant-making
organizations have had to cut back their giving to non-profits. For
small groups like Zorongo, this can threaten our very existence. Many
of the grants that are still being made are tied to specific
programming, leaving little money for day-to-day expenses. Your
individual donation is, in a very real sense, what allows us to keep
the lights on, the internet bill paid, and the rent up-to-date.
Because it is not tied to programming, we can allocate it to whatever
area needs it most.
By
supporting Zorongo, you contribute not just to one organization, but
to the community at large. Zorongo produces shows for schools,
community groups and cultural events that reach thousands of audience
members every year. We build bridges between cultures, create new
friendships, and work with our partners in the arts community to
continually push the boundaries of creativity and community. From our
puppet show “Tra Ti Ti Tran Tran Toro” to our evenings of
traditional flamenco, to weekly classes for all ages and experience
levels, Zorongo is there for the arts and for the greater good of the
Twin Cities and Minnesota.
Please consider sending us a donation this month, using the linked PDF form. Your contribution is fully tax-deductible. Alternatively, click on the Give To The Max Day link above to be taken to our page for that event.
Thank you for being a part of our flamenco community and for making our work possible and fulfilling.
Best Regards,
Susana di Palma
