La Carcelera
Susana di Palma and an ensemble of six female dancers and three musicians bring to the audience a provocative dance/theatre work exploring the dynamics of women's prison life. This commanding work evokes hope for incarcerated women and is a powerful social reminder of the power of women to overcome domestic violence. The original music and choreography blend together the similar roots of flamenco and blues to create a memorable, smoldering experience for the audience.
